How many pictures will we receive?

You will receive a gallery of ALL of the best images from your session. There are 20 included in your package.

Why is an engagement session important?

An engagement session can be a valuable tool for both the photographer and the couple. It allows the photographer to get to know the couple's personalities and preferences, which can help them capture more meaningful and authentic images on the wedding day. For the couple, it's an opportunity to get comfortable in front of the camera and to build a relationship with their photographer. This can help them feel more relaxed and confident on their wedding day, which can result in better photos. These images can be used for invites, save the dates, prints, guest books, etc!

How long does an engagement session take?

My sessions are untimed. Meaning, you are my ONLY session that day! So, as long as I am getting in new shots and everyone is having fun, I am there! These typically take one to two hours.

Will you tell us how to pose?

Yes! I like to provide suggestions for the photos. I typically shoot a mix of posed and candid photos. I am a very visual person and I like to bring images from previous session to show you what I am looking for with poses (with your own personal spin on them!) This way, if you don't like it, we don't waste your time!

Can we bring our dog to the photo shoot?

ABSOLUTELY! It is easiest if you bring someone along to take the dog after we have done some photos so I can take them with and without the dog.

What should we wear?

I like to say business casual, but wear what you are comfortable in! If you don't feel comfortable and confident, you will not look it! I do suggest you avoid exciting patterns, logos, slogans, and stained clothing.

Still not sure? I offer what I call a client closet. This basically means I have an abundance of women's dresses in sizes from XS to 3XL that photograph BEAUTIFULLY!
